Objectives and
Goals:
The overall goal of the project is to announce and promote disaster readiness
within the community at the Central Florida Community Information Fair on July
29 in the “THINK72 Pavilion”. It will stress the fact that people needs to
think and plan with seventy two (72) hours before an emergency is imminent,
therefore, enjoying the next seventy two (72) hours with enough supplies to
take care of their own family and property. The goals for the project are to
create awareness on the time frame for which people needs to be prepared,
people will develop their own family plan according to their particular needs,
people will start their own emergency kit.

Project Summary:
The above-mentioned entities will collaborate for this successful event. Latino
Leadership suggests the use of the Central Florida Community Information Fair
event to exploit exposure. The “THINK72 Pavilion” provides a comprehensive and
official ambiance necessary for this type of event. Latino Leadership suggests
calling for a press conference on Tuesday, July 26 to get the community excited
about the program and maximize outreach with earned media. The appropriate time
is 10AM because this will provide the opportunity to be covered by the weekly
minority media, the mainstream media and at the same time allow live coverage
at noon and 6 pm T.V. news slots. Attached you will find more information about
